Sublimation Inks

Sublimation ink is used in the dye-sublimation printing process, where heat and pressure convert the ink directly into a gas without passing through a liquid stage. This high-temperature process bonds the ink into the fibers of the material, preventing migration, cracking, or smudging. The result is vibrant, durable prints that resist fading and washing out over time.

Our sublimation ink series is specifically engineered for inkjet transfer printing onto synthetic fibers — including polyester and blends with at least 80% synthetic content. Designed with sustainability in mind, these inks help reduce both water and energy consumption during production.

Primary application areas include sportswear, beachwear accessories, flags, banners and displays, home textiles, fast fashion, draperies, and promotional items.

Applications

  • Sportwear,
  • Flags,
  • Banner and Display,
  • Home Textiles,
  • Beachwear Accessories,
  • Fast Fashion,
  • Upholstery

Printing Process

Printing textiles with sublimation inks involves two key steps. First, the design is printed onto transfer paper using an inkjet printing system. Then, depending on the type of fabric, the ink is transferred onto the textile using either a heat press or a calendar machine, maintaining a temperature between 180°C and 220°C.

Recommendations

It is recommended to allow the product to stabilize at operational temperature and humidity conditions for at least 24 hours before use. Avoid stirring or agitating the product, and always follow the usage instructions provided. The ideal storage conditions are a temperature between 20°C and 25°C, and humidity between 40% and 80%.

After printing, the transfer paper must be processed immediately while hot, using a calendar or flat press at temperatures between 180°C and 220°C. Transfer time will vary between 30 seconds and 190 seconds, depending on material and application requirements.
